Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Shaya Zindani met sunday with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, Ahmed Attaf.
During the meeting, they reviewed the fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries, emphasizing the importance of enhancing bilateral cooperation in various fields, reflecting the strong historical ties between the Republic of Yemen and the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria.
The two parties also discussed developments in Yemen, where Minister Zindani briefed his Algerian counterpart on the latest updates and the efforts of the Yemeni government to achieve peace and end the suffering of the Yemeni people.
He expressed Yemen's appreciation for Algeria's steadfast positions in supporting Arab issues, particularly its continued support for the legitimate government in various international forums.
For his part, the Algerian minister reaffirmed his country's support for the security and stability of Yemen and the integrity of its territory.
He mphasized Algeria's commitment to enhancing joint cooperation and coordination to serve the issues of the nation and strengthen Arab and Islamic cooperation.
