Minister of Water and Environment Engineer Tawfiq Sharjabi discussed sunday with a delegation from the International Committee of the Red Cross, led by Kijun the ongoing preparations for a workshop aimed at launching the general framework for the water sector development plan in the city of Aden.
The workshop will involve various stakeholders and relevant parties.
Several issues related to the Red Cross's efforts in the water sector were also discussed.
Minister al-Sharjabi emphasized the importance of the workshop and its role in enhancing integration and strategic planning for the water sector, stressing the need to intensify efforts to ensure the best results and outcomes from this significant event.
For his part, Kijun expressed his gratitude for the fruitful cooperation with the Ministry of Water and Environment during his tenure, affirming the International Committee of the Red Cross's commitment to supporting the Yemeni government's efforts to improve access to water and sanitation services.
