Prime Minister Salem Saleh Bin Braik reaffirmed the government's commitment to supporting youth-led community initiatives that promote social cohesion and harness the energy of young people to serve their communities.
During a meeting with the youth team behind the initiative to rehabilitate and repair the international road in Abyan, the Prime Minister praised their efforts as a model of community solidarity and cooperation.
The initiative, which is currently in its first phase, aims to repair 148 kilometers of the road and is being funded with 1.9 million Saudi riyals.
The Prime Minister commended the youth team for their dedication and described their initiative as a beacon of hope and a testament to the power of community-driven solutions.
He directed the Road Fund and the Roads and Bridges Authority to support the second phase of the project, which aims to rehabilitate an additional 120 kilometers of the road.
