The Minister of Water and Environment, Engineer Tawfiq Al-Sharjabi, inaugurated a national workshop on low-emission development in Yemen, in collaboration with the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat).
The two-day event brings together representatives from various ministries, government agencies, and UN organizations.
The workshop aims to discuss key issues related to low-emission development, including the establishment of a national committee and the launch of a national climate data platform.
Participants will also explore ways to engage the private sector in climate action and assess institutional needs related to climate change.
