A recent report by the Yemen Network for Rights and Freedoms has exposed the Houthi militia's egregious human rights abuses in Dhamar province. According to the report, the militia has committed over 15,000 violations between January 1, 2018, and May 30, 2025.

The Houthi militia's actions have led to a severe humanitarian crisis in Dhamar province, with widespread destruction and displacement.

The report highlights the urgent need for accountability and protection for civilians in conflict zones.

The militia's violations include killings, injuries, abductions, forced disappearances, torture, and destruction of property. Specifically, the report documents the deaths of 474 civilians, including 32 children and 12 women, and the injury of 218 others, including 34 children and 9 women.
