Interior Minister, Major General Ibrahim Haydan, emphasized the importance of national unity in Yemen, saying it is the cornerstone of stability and sovereignty.
In a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of Yemen's national unity, Haydan said that the unity of the Yemeni people is a culmination of a long struggle for national liberation and a testament to the country's commitment to overcoming challenges.
Haydan highlighted the significance of national unity in Yemen, saying it is a guarantee of stability and sovereignty, and a stronghold that protects the country's identity and dignity.
The minister also emphasized that national unity is essential for facing challenges and threats, including those posed by Iran and its terrorist arms.
Haidan called on Yemenis to rally behind the unity and work towards completing the battle for liberation and achieving a great victory.
