The Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Dr. Mansour Bajash met Wednesday with Deputy Director-General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (ISESCO)Dr. Abdullah bin Arfah.
The Deputy Foreign Minister listened to the Deputy Director-General about the organization's work and its distinguished partnership with Yemen, as well as the programs and projects implemented in Yemen.
He pointed out that the organization aims to send experts to monitor and document the violations and damages inflicted on educational and cultural institutions and Yemeni archaeological sites.
Bajash praised the efforts of ISESCO, represented by its Director-General, Dr. Salem al-Malik, in implementing programs and projects in the field of education and preserving culture and heritage in Yemen, which have been destroyed due to violations by the Houthi militias.
He emphasized the importance of cooperation with experts and specialists in this regard.
The Deputy Foreign Minister, along with the Deputy Director-General of the organization, the Head of the Partnerships and International Cooperation Sector, Anar Karimov, the Director of Dialogue and Cultural Diversity overseeing the Office of Goodwill Ambassadors, Ambassador Khalid Fath al-Rahman and the Yemeni Ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco Ezeddin al-Asbahi, toured the International Exhibition and Museum of the Prophetic Biography and Islamic Civilization at the ISESCO headquarters.
