The Chargé d'Affaires of the Yemeni Embassy in Nairobi, Abdul-Salam al-Awadhi, met with the Director of Protocol at the Kenyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Josphat Maikara, to discuss bilateral relations between Yemen and Kenya.

The meeting reviewed the situation of the Yemeni community in Kenya and their contributions to strengthening relations between the two countries. The discussions also focused on enhancing cooperation in political, economic, and security areas.

The Kenyan official emphasized the historical ties between Yemen and Kenya and expressed his country's commitment to strengthening and developing bilateral relations with Yemen.
