Tareq Saleh meets with Sheikhs, Notables of Rima
[14/05/2025 02:39]

MOCHA - SABA
Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Tareq Saleh met Wednesday with officials, sheikhs, notables and dignitaries of Rima Governorate in a broad meeting in Mocha city, led by the Governor of Rima, Major General Ali Mohammad al-Houri.

Tareq Saleh began the meeting by greeting the sons of Rima Governorate, describing them as "support and strength" due to their revolutionary and national role and their rich history in resisting the Houthi terrorist militia since the six wars.

He emphasized that Rima was and will remain at the forefront in confronting the Iranian project.

He pointed out that this governorate has resisted the imamate throughout history, recalling its role in breaking the siege of Sana'a under the leadership of Major General Yahya Mosleh.

He stressed that Rima and its capital, al-Jabin, will not bow except to their creator.

Tareq Saleh confirmed that the sons of Rima are participating in the national liberation battle in all military formations across the country, citing the martyrs of Rima in various fronts of honor and heroism, including the martyr Colonel Abdul-Ghani al-Shibli, one of the heroes of the national resistance who was martyred on the gates of Hodeidah while fighting this Iranian scourge.

He noted that the imamate exploited the tolerance of Yemenis after the September 26 Revolution to re-form itself under the "guardianship" cloak, which is an Iranian project that Yemenis are resisting with great sacrifices. He stressed that the republican Yemen will not accept the guardianship project.

Tareq Saleh said that the Houthi has no relation to building but focuses on extortion, taxes, and establishing investment companies while destroying the business houses.

He pointed out that the militias serve the interests of Israel and Iran together, not the interests of Yemenis.

Regarding the shift in the international stance towards the Houthis after the Red Sea attacks, he urged Yemenis to unite in a national front to restore the state and its institutions, warning that disagreements will prolong the suffering of the people with Houthi terrorism.

He reiterated that reliance should not be placed on external strikes targeting the Houthis but on the self through unity and preparation for the inevitable national liberation battle.

Tareq Saleh revealed that the leader of the Houthi militia, Abdulmalik al-Houthi, was not aware of an Iranian-American agreement regarding the Red Sea but received instructions from Iran to stop attacks on ships and was obliged to implement them.

He pointed out that al-Houthi acknowledged in a private meeting the impact of American strikes targeting militia leaders and hideouts, admitting they were more damaging than Israeli strikes that destroyed infrastructure serving Yemenis.

He stressed that Yemenis are fighting the Iranian project today on behalf of all free peoples in the Arab and Islamic nation, warning that if this project is not defeated in Yemen, it will spread to other Arab countries.

The member of the Presidential Leadership Council pledged to continue resistance in the western coast, raising the rifle against the Iranian agenda until the liberation of Sana'a, in cooperation with all free people.
