Ambassador al-Sinaini discusses with Japanese Minister of Economic Security more support to Yemen

Yemen's Ambassador to Japan Adel al-Sinaini discussed Wednesday with the Japanese Minister of Economic Security Kiichi Minor enhancing bilateral relations and expanding areas of support and programs provided by the Japanese government.

During the meeting, which included Japanese parliament members Nishimi Kosaburo, Takagi Ki, Kikawada Hitotsu and Nakamura Hiroyuki, Ambassador al-Sinaini praised the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and their historical and common ties.

He emphasized the importance of strengthening joint cooperation paths and commended the Japanese government's commitment to supporting the Yemeni people and their political leadership.

The Ambassador highlighted Yemen's commitment to strengthening cooperation areas and benefiting from Japan's advanced experiences in capacity-building programs, management and technical and technological fields.

He reviewed the economic and developmental challenges facing Yemen and the practical orientations adopted by the Presidential Leadership Council and the government to promote transparency and activate the work of state institutions.

The Ambassador expressed his hope for advancing cooperation paths in political, economic, parliamentary, developmental and humanitarian fields to support the Japanese government's friendly stance towards the Yemeni government's orientations, particularly in electricity, water, education, health, infrastructure, reconstruction, training and capacity-building programs.

For their part, the Japanese Minister of Economic Security and parliament members expressed appreciation for the level of bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and reaffirmed Japan's support for Yemen's stability and unity.

They emphasized Japan's commitment to supporting peace paths to end the suffering of the Yemeni people.
