Justice Minister Discusses with SOS Foundation regulating mixed marriages

The Minister of Justice, Judge Badr al-Aredha discussed Tuesday with a delegation from the SOS Development Foundation ways to regulate mixed marriages and enhance cooperation in this field at the level of Aden Governorate and other governorates.
The meeting addressed a proposal to establish a special office for mixed marriage affairs under the Ministry of Justice, which would work in coordination with relevant authorities to facilitate legal procedures and provide necessary awareness and legal support.
Minister al-Aredha emphasized the importance of organizing a workshop that brings together official entities involved in authenticating mixed marriages, including the Ministries of Interior, Foreign Affairs and Justice, to develop organized recommendations that regulate this type of marriage in accordance with the law.
The meeting also touched on efforts to develop legal aid, where the Minister praised the progress made in this field and emphasized the ministry's support for expanding network linkage and improving the quality of legal services provided to those in need.
The Minister highlighted the importance of cooperation and coordination between the Ministry of Justice and relevant organizations to ensure the effective implementation of legal aid programs and services.
