Yemen Foreign Minister, Dr. Shaya Zindani, met with UN Special Envoy to Yemen, Hans Grundberg, and emphasized the need for the international community to take a firm stance against the Houthi militia.
Zindani highlighted the Houthi militia's terrorist activities and threats to regional and global security, particularly after being designated as an FTO by the US and other states .
The foreign minister stressed that the Houthi militia's stubbornness and refusal to negotiate have thwarted peace efforts, and that ignoring their actions without accountability would prolong the war and exacerbate humanitarian suffering in Yemen.
