The Ministry of Human Rights, in collaboration with UNICEF, has launched a two-day training course for child protection units in Aden.
The course, titled "Protecting Children: Securing a Better Future," aims to equip 27 participants from military and security units with specialized knowledge in international humanitarian law and child protection legislation.
The training emphasizes the importance of preventing child recruitment and promoting awareness of relevant laws, including the Armed Forces Service Law No. (67) of 1991.
The course seeks to strengthen the capacity of child protection units and provide them with essential knowledge about children's rights and legal protection mechanisms.
