Massive protest in Marib demands urgent international action to stop occupation crimes in Gaza
[02/05/2025 04:23]

MARIB - SABA
Thousands of angry protesters in Marib governorate renewed their full solidarity with the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip today, expressing their strong condemnation of the ongoing Israeli crimes against unarmed civilians in the area.

This took place during a large public gathering held in the city of Marib after Friday prayers, as part of the weekly solidarity demonstrations with Gaza.

Participants in the gathering raised banners calling on the United Nations and the international community to take action to stop the genocide being perpetrated by the occupation in Gaza since the resumption of its aggression, which continues to target hospitals, schools, camps and all means of life, while preventing humanitarian aid from entering the besieged territory.

They called upon the United Nations Security Council, the International Court of Justice, the International Criminal Court, the Human Rights Council, the European Unionband all international and UN bodies to fulfill their legal, moral and humanitarian responsibilities regarding the plight of over two million civilians trapped under bombardment and starvation for the third consecutive month.

The demonstrators expressed their strong condemnation of the shameful international silence regarding the ongoing Israeli crimes in Gaza, considering the international stance to be complicit with the occupation through what they termed "shameful global silence" about the ongoing war crimes in the area, covering them up and giving a green light for further acts in the absence of any real international accountability.

The angry protesters stressed the necessity of holding the leaders of the Zionist occupation accountable in international criminal courts and prosecuting them as war criminals, as they are directly responsible for committing war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
They noted that the impunity of these criminals encourages them to commit further massacres and continue undermining international laws.

They pointed out that the ongoing occupation's commission of these atrocities, amounting to acts of genocide and ethnic cleansing against children, women, and civilians in Gaza, without any international deterrent, represents a stain on the conscience of humanity.

The protestors reaffirmed their total support for the Palestinian people's right to resist the Zionist occupation by all available means, including armed struggle, as legitimate rights guaranteed by international laws and charters for peoples under occupation.

They emphasized the steadfast and firm position of the Yemeni people towards the Palestinian cause, supporting the Palestinian people, and enhancing their resilience in the face of occupation until the liberation of their occupied land on their entire national territory.
