The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Sheikh Othman Mujalli has made it clear that the Yemeni people do not see a future for Yemen, stability for the region or freedom of international navigation with the Houthi terrorist group, which has repeatedly proven to be unqualified for peace.

"Peace will only be achieved through a literal commitment to apply the international resolutions and relevant references," he said.

He voiced his point of view during his talks today, Wednesday, with the Ambassador of the Royal Netherlands to the Republic of Yemen Jennette Seppen.

He celebrated the Yemen-Dutch long-standing robust bilateral relations, highly praising the supportive stances of the Royal Netherlands in support of the internationally recognized Yemeni government and the PLC at the regional and international stages.

He also expressed gratitude to the Dutch government for its significant contribution to the development process in Yemen through several decades.

Mujalli blamed Houthi the Houthi militias for prolonging the conflict and the Yemeni people suffering by blocking peace efforts and proposals.

He stated that the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia made great efforts in cooperation with the UN's envoy to adopt a road map for peace, they went to Sana'a, but all those efforts were rejected by the Iranian backed Houthis.

The PLC's Member affirmed that the PLC is very keen to bring peace saying" If there is anyone who thinks that he is capable to achieve fair and comprehensive peace to our people within limits do not give the terrorist groups role in Yemen, we'll extend him our hand for peace..".

The Dutch Ambassador reaffirmed that her country is keen to support the peace, development and stability track in Yemen.
