The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi received today, Tuesday, the Ambassador of the Royal Netherlands to the Republic of Yemen Jennette Seppen.
They conferred over bilateral relations, the developments in Yemen and the economic and humanitarian challenges that have been further worsen by the attacks of the Houthi terrorist militias on oil facilities and international maritime shipping lanes.
Al-Alimi greatly valued the supportive stances of the Royal Net heralds in support of the Yemeni government and people and the Dutch significant contribution to the development drive in Yemen.
The PLC's Member highlighted the pressing need to support the Yemeni government's efforts to build the capacities of the coast guards to enable them doing their job effectively and help countering smuggling weapons to the terrorist Houthi militias.
He stressed that it is very important to join all efforts to counter the danger of the terrorist Houthi militias.
" Unless there is well coordination and real partnership with the Yemeni government to take control over all Yemeni territories, restore the state's institutions and establish peace, the terrorist Houthi militias will continue to threat regional and international security, stability", said al-Alimi.
The Dutch Ambassador reaffirmed her country's support for the Yemeni government and people, stability and security of Yemen.
