Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Mustafa Noman met with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Yemen, Jeannette Seppen in Aden Yemen's interim capital.
The meeting focused on discussing developments in the humanitarian and political situation in Yemen.
During the meeting, Noman praised the humanitarian role played by the Kingdom of the Netherlands, particularly in the humanitarian and development fields.
He stressed the importance of continuing the bilateral Dutch role and building on it to strengthen Yemeni institutions.
The two sides also discussed aspects of Dutch support for capacity-building programs, human development, women's empowerment, the health and child sectors, and support for civil society organizations.
They emphasized the need to activate joint mechanisms to ensure the effectiveness of interventions and achieve the desired impact.
The Dutch Ambassador expressed her country's appreciation for the humanitarian situation and its desire to continue existing cooperation with the government. She affirmed her country's continued support for efforts in the areas of capacity building, nutrition, and sustainable development.
