Major General Faraj Salmeen Al-Bahsani, member of the Presidential Leadership Council, met with the Russian Chargé d'Affaires to Yemen, Yevgeny Kudrov, to discuss strengthening bilateral relations and addressing rapid developments on the local and regional levels.
The meeting focused on recent developments in Yemen and explored ways for Russia to support the Presidential Leadership Council and the government in achieving stability. Al-Bahsani emphasized the need for an active Russian role in this regard.
Both officials highlighted the historical relations between Yemen and Russia, stressing the importance of enhanced cooperation in political, economic, and cultural fields. They agreed on the need for joint coordination to address humanitarian and economic challenges.
