Minister of Industry and Trade Mohammed al-Ashwal and China's Chargé d'Affaires Shao Zheng discussed today strengthening bilateral economic and trade cooperation.
In a virtual meeting, minister al-Ashwal praised China's support, including exempting Yemeni products from export duties and providing free pavilions for the China International Import Expo.
The minister highlighted upcoming events, including the Chinese-Arab Businessmen Conference, and sought to expand relations in capacity building and skills development. The Chinese diplomat reaffirmed China's interest in supporting Yemen's security, peace, and development.
