JAPAN - SABA
Minister of Industry and Trade Mohammed al-Ashwal has stated that Yemen's participation in the global Expo 2025 is an exceptional opportunity to introduce Yemen as a country that carries a message of love and peace, and as a platform to showcase its economic and investment potential.
This came during his visit to the Yemeni pavilion at the global Expo 2025.
He praised the level of organization, preparation and designs implemented by creative Yemeni hands that traveled from our land to cover a long distance to reach Japan, leaving a mark of the Yemeni people's will to present themselves to the world as supporters of peace, culture, and international cooperation.
Minister al-Ashwal, along with Yemen's Ambassador to Japan, Adel al-Sunaini, toured the sections of the Yemeni pavilion to explore the features of Yemen's rich civilization, including decorative designs, Sanaa-style carvings, and archaeological artifacts.
He noted the level of visitor turnout and their enjoyment of the artistic and creative details, as well as the architectural treasures that represent prominent Yemeni landmarks, such as Dar al-Hajar, the al-Mihdar Lighthouse and the skyscrapers of Shibam.
He pointed out that the Yemeni pavilion, with its radiant charm, received appreciation from visitors for the authentic blend of genuine Yemeni popular atmospheres, which include the scent of incense and traditional music that transport them to the essence of Yemeni hospitality in all its details.
Al-Ashwal also affirmed that Yemen's participation in Expo is not merely an official representation but serves as a message highlighting Yemen's civilizational and cultural significance, shedding light on its heritage and cultural legacy, and demonstrating its readiness to participate in major global international forums.
