Yemen's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Abdullah al-Saadi, met with the Permanent Representatives of Slovenia, Pakistan, and Korea to discuss the latest developments in Yemen.
The discussions centered on the political, economic, and humanitarian situation in Yemen, as well as regional security and stability. Ambassador al-Saadi emphasized the Yemeni government's commitment to a peaceful resolution, aligning with UN efforts and Security Council Resolution 2216.
The ambassadors reaffirmed their countries' support for UN-led efforts to reach a political settlement in Yemen.
They stressed the importance of alleviating humanitarian suffering and promoting a comprehensive and sustainable peace that meets the aspirations of the Yemeni people.
