Yemen's Ambassador to Russia Ahmed al-Wahishi discussed Wednesday with Russian Envoy for the Middle East and Africa, the Deputy Russian Foreign Minister, Michael Bogdanov means of boosting mutual relations.
Al-Wahishi touched upon latest developments in the Middle East and military escalation in the Red Sea caused by Houthi terrorist militia after targeting oil establishments and its piracy in international navigation lines and shipments.
He pointed out that the Houthi terrorist militia caused loss of 60 percent of the state budget, making sharp deterioration in the price of the Yemeni Rial and more complications to people's livelihood.
For his part, the Russian Envoy re-confirmed Russia's position supporting the government of Yemen and support to peace efforts.
