The Sudanese national team drew 0-0 with its Senegalese guest at the Martyrs of Benina Stadium in Libya, as part of the African qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be held in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
With this result, the Sudanese national team strengthened its lead in Group B, raising its score to 11 points, one point ahead of the Congo, which is in second place with 10 points, and two points ahead of Senegal, which is in third place with 9 points.
In Group B, Mauritania tied with its host, Togo, 2-2 in Togo.
Togo scored the first goal in the fourth minute through Thibaut Kledji. Mauritania equalized and won through goals from Aboubakar Kouita in the 52nd minute and Abdullahi Mahmoud in the 55th minute. However, Togo equalized in the 69th minute through Ahoike Dinkay, and the match ended in a draw.
