The Member of the Presidential Leaderhip Council (PLC) Maj. General Aidarous al-Zubaidi presided over a meeting today, Friday, with the leadership of the Local Authority, senior government's officials and commanders of the military units and security services in the governorate of Mahra.

The meeting aimed to discuss the basic services, military and security situations and the challenges need to be addressed.
Al-Zubaidi commended the great efforts made by the Local Authority headed by the Governor Mohammed Yasser to speed up the development drive in the governorate.

He confirmed the PLC's full support for the governorate's leadership. " The PLC is very interested in engaging the fellow citizens of Mahra in different Ministries and the central governmental institutions", al-Zubaid stressed.

The PLC's member emphasized that efforts ought to be redoubled, team work must be prevailing and the role of the Security Committee in controlling outlawed actions needs to be further enhanced to maintain the stability of Mahra, its political, geographical and economic status.

Maj. General al-Zubaidi promised to discuss the challenges and concerns the senior officials reported about to him within the PLC. We're going to do our best to address your concerns and challenges within the available resources", he said.
