Governor of Hodeidah Dr. al-Hasan Taher discussed Wednesday with the head of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees office in Aden Mohammed Rafiq ways to enhance cooperation and humanitarian and developmental interventions in the liberated areas of the governorate.
Governor Taher emphasized that the Commission is one of the prominent partners in humanitarian work, noting that there is a comprehensive plan to be implemented in a professional and efficient manner in the upcoming period.
He called for continued cooperation to address the difficulties faced in implementing interventions in the governorate.
For his part, the head of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees office in Aden confirmed the importance of ongoing cooperation between the two parties to ensure the facilitation of partner organizations' work.
He expressed the Commission's readiness to support efforts to bring about a qualitative shift in humanitarian and developmental interventions and ensure their sustainability.
