In a bid to enhance coordination and response to refugee challenges, Yemen's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs, Mustafa Noman, held talks with Mohammed Rafiq Nasri, Head of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Aden.
The meeting, held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters, focused on bolstering cooperation between the National Committee for Refugee Affairs and the UNHCR. Noman underscored the importance of this collaboration in addressing asylum and displacement issues in Yemen, aligning with international standards.
The UNHCR expressed its readiness to closely cooperate with the National Committee for Refugee Affairs, ensuring that humanitarian aid reaches the most vulnerable populations.
This strengthened partnership aims to provide effective support and protection for refugees and host communities in Yemen.
