The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Tariq Saleh convened a meeting of the Executive Bureau of Taiz governorate aimed to discuss the basic services, development drive and humanitarian situations.

The meeting held in the city of Mokha brought together the Governor Nabil Shamsan and the senior officials in the governorate.

The basic services mainly, education, roads, urban planning and electricity were key focus of the discussions.
Tariq confirmed his full support to establish a national Fund to sustain education, alleviate the teachers' suffering and improve their living conditions.

"We're very interested in assisting the teachers and enabling them to do their crucially important job of educating the generations", said Tariq.

The Member of the PLC cited the practical measures have been taken to accelerate the ongoing efforts to put the seaport and airport of Mokha into operation as soon as possible.

Tariq stated that he is willing to do his utmost efforts to mitigate the impacts of the designation of the Houthi militias as a Terrorist Organization, underlining the generous support of the Emirati Red Crescent in different fields.
