Yemen's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mustafa Noaman met with the Chargé d'Affairs of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China to Yemen, Shao Cheng, to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, Noaman reviewed the latest developments in Yemen, emphasizing the importance of China's development support for the country. He highlighted the need for projects that improve living conditions and training courses that enhance the efficiency of Yemeni cadres in various fields.

The Deputy Foreign Minister also received two invitations from the Chinese side for Yemen to join the Global Security Initiative (GSI) and the Friends of International Cooperation Group to build artificial intelligence capabilities.

The GSI, launched by China, aims to enhance international cooperation and promote a community with a shared future for mankind that enjoys universal security.

For his part, the Chinese Chargé d'Affaires affirmed China's continued support for Yemen in the humanitarian and development fields, which enhances cooperation between the two countries and supports development efforts in Yemen.
