Yemen's Foreign Minister, Dr. Shaye Al-Zindani, held talks with Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit in Cairo today, exploring ways to bolster joint Arab action.
The meeting, which took place at the Arab League headquarters, focused on the upcoming emergency Arab summit and the 163rd session of the Council of the Arab League.
Minister Al-Zindani briefed Aboul Gheit on the latest developments in Yemen, including efforts to end the ongoing conflict and achieve peace. He also discussed regional and international issues, as well as the Arab League's efforts to enhance cooperation among member states.
Aboul Gheit reaffirmed the Arab League's strong support for Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council, government, and people, and its commitment to promoting peace in the country.
