Prime Minister directs governors to monitor supply, control prices

Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Awadh bin Mubarak has directed the leadership of local authorities in the liberated provinces to intensify efforts to alleviate the living hardships of citizens and improve services.

He directed them to monitor the supply and control prices of food items and basic materials, especially with the approach of the holy month of Ramadan.

The Prime Minister emphasized the government's full support for the local authorities' leadership in their efforts to meet their duties and responsibilities during these exceptional circumstances to be reflected positively on the living standards of citizens and alleviate the suffering caused by the terrorist Houthi militia since its coup against the legitimate authority and the outbreak of war.

This came during phone calls made by Dr. Ahmed Awadh bin Mubarak with the governors of liberated governorates on Saturday the first of the Holy Month of Ramadan. He inquired about the progress of work and the conditions of citizens, as well as the integration with the government to overcome the existing difficulties and challenges.

The Prime Minister exchanged congratulations with the governors on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan and asked them to convey the greetings of the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, Dr. Rashad Mohammad al-Alimi and his fellow council members, along with his own greetings, to all citizens in their provinces, expressing complete understanding of their hardships and a commitment to exert all possible efforts to address them.

The Prime Minister stressed the importance of sensing the struggles of citizens and focusing on urgent priorities in the service sectors related to the daily life and livelihood of the citizens, in addition to reinforcing security and stability.
