MASAM removes 861 landmines, UXO last week

The Deming Project of King Salman Humanitarian and Relief Center in Yemen known as " MASAM", managed remove 861 of Houthis-laid landmines and unexploded ordnances (UXO) during the previous week.

MASAM reported that its deminers removed 810 UXO, 44 anti-tanks and 7 anti-personnel landmines.

This brings total number of the landmines, UXO and explosives devices removed by MASAM up to 482 thousand and 637.

It is important to note that MASA started its demining mission in Yemen in 2018.
