RIYADH - SABA
Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Awadh bin Mubarak confirmed the government's readiness to submit the general state budget for 2025 to the Parliament.

This came during a meeting on Thursday with the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Mohsen Basurra, and council members Mohammad Moqbil Al-Hamiri, Insaf Mayo and Abdullah al-Naamani.

Bin Mubarak informed the Deputy Speaker and members of the parliament about the government's efforts to combat corruption, emphasizing the continuation of this approach to establish the principles of transparency and good governance in all state institutions.

He pointed to the government's vision for institutional reforms and economic resource development.
The Prime Minister noted that the government has adopted a spending plan to rationalize expenditures in line with their limited nature.

The meeting also discussed the government's economic recovery plan for 2025-2026 and the role of the parliament in monitoring the implementation of this plan.

Additionally, they addressed national issues and the various challenges facing the country, particularly the ongoing catastrophic repercussions of the Houthi coup and the economic war waged by the terrorist Houthi militias, which exacerbate humanitarian and economic conditions and target national resources.

They emphasized the importance of cooperation and integration among various authorities to confront these challenges and enhance the comprehensive national project aimed at ending the coup and restoring state authority across all Yemeni regions.

The Deputy Speaker and members of the parliament expressed their support for the government's plans and efforts in combating corruption and financial and administrative reform.
