In a series of high-level diplomatic engagements, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mustafa Noman held bilateral talks with his Eritrean and Qatari counterparts on the sidelines of the Indian Ocean Conference in Muscat, Oman.
During his meeting with Eritrean Foreign Minister Osman Saleh, the two officials discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between their countries, with a focus on promoting mutual interests.
They also exchanged views on regional and international developments, particularly in the Horn of Africa, and explored opportunities for cooperation on enhancing navigation security in the Red Sea.
In a separate meeting, Deputy Minister Noman met with Qatari Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan Al-Muraikhi to discuss bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation between their countries.
The talks also touched on the latest developments in Yemen, with Noman expressing appreciation for Qatar's supportive position towards the people and its efforts to achieve peace in the country.
