Foreign Minister discusses cooperation relations with UK ambassador

RIYADH – SABA
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani discussed with the UK Ambassador to Yemen Abda Sharif on Wednesday the cooperative relations between the two friendly countries in various fields.

During the meeting, the minister reviewed the efforts made to support the Yemeni government and assist it in facing humanitarian and economic challenges by the United Kingdom.

They also addressed the latest developments in Yemen and the region.

Minister Zindani appreciated the assistance and support provided by the British government to Yemen, expressing gratitude to the UK for its efforts in organizing the donor conference to support Yemen, which was held in New York last month.

This reflects Britain’s commitment to supporting the Yemeni government and improving economic and humanitarian stability in Yemen.

The British Ambassador reaffirmed her country’s commitment to continue supporting the Presidential Leadership Council and the Yemeni government in a way that contributes to addressing economic and humanitarian conditions and achieving peace, security and stability in Yemen.
