Ambassador of Yemen to Pakistan Mohammed al-Ashabi discussed Wednesday with the Chairman of the Pakistani Senate Syed Gillani ways to enhance parliamentary relations between the two countries.

Ambassador al-Ashabi addressed the latest developments in Yemen, emphasizing the continued stubbornness of the Iranian-backed Houthi militias and their refusal to engage in efforts aimed at achieving peace in Yemen.

He expressed appreciation for Pakistan's support for Yemen in building and enhancing human capacities.

For his part, the Chairman of the Pakistani Senate spoke about the strong bilateral relations between the two countries and the brotherly peoples, highlighting the culture and authenticity of the Yemeni people.

He expressed Pakistan's ongoing readiness to strengthen bilateral cooperation with Yemen in various fields.
