Minister of Finance Salem bin Braik participated in the 9th Public Finance Forum, held in Dubai, which was organized by the UAE Ministry of Finance and the Arab Monetary Fund, as part of the activities of the World Government Summit, hosted by the city of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
The forum brought together finance ministers from Arab countries, as well as representatives, experts, and advisors from the Arab Monetary Fund and the International Monetary Fund.
The event featured a series of sessions that delved into pressing economic issues, including the implications of macroeconomic developments on fiscal situations, options for designing fiscal policy in the face of escalating debt pressures, fiscal policy and resilience in the face of climate change, and the reform of tax systems to address significant structural economic changes.
