Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani met in the Moroccan capital, Rabat with Moroccan Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch during his current official visit to the sisterly Kingdom of Morocco.
Minister Zindani discussed the historical relations and shared ties that connect the two countries and their brotherly peoples, which should be built upon to enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields.
He pointed out to the promising opportunities that can be developed in the relationships between the two countries, particularly in the economic, agricultural, and fishing sectors, as well as the importance of activating the Business Council between the two countries to frame this cooperation.
He praised the positions of the Kingdom of Morocco and its role in supporting the Yemeni government and its efforts to achieve security and stability and to end the suffering of the Yemeni people.
For his part, the Moroccan Prime Minister praised the convening of the joint Yemeni Ministerial Committee scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, which will include cooperation agreements in various fields, reflecting the genuine wish to increase coordination and cooperation between the two countries.
He also affirmed the Kingdom of Morocco's supportive stance and its unwavering support for the political leadership in our country, represented by His Excellency Dr. Rashad Mohammed al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council and for all the steps he takes to achieve the security and stability sought by the Yemeni people.
