PM gives directives to improve teachers situations, salaries

Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed bin Mubark has given directives to take necessary measures to improve the teachers' living conditions, including regular salary pay on time every month and approving appropriate increase in the teachers' salaries as well as approving the due promotion's bonuses in the state general budget of 2025.

He said " From today on, the teacher's salary will be paid before our salaries, in the coming days the government is going to take necessary measures to address the teachers' grievances".

In a press release Dr. Bin Mubarak stated that the government will do its utmost efforts along with brothers' and friends' support to take appropriate measures to improve the teachers' living conditions.

The Prime Minister reaffirmed that education is our primary national battle and the corner stone for knowledge, development and defeating the Houthi clerical backward scheme. " Education is a gov't's top priority", he stressed.

Bin Mubarak stated that his directives aren't limited to improve the teachers' situations temporarily, but rather to adopt sustainable policies to support education and ensure the stability of the educational process and develop it, including establishing the Yemeni public education Fund and allocate sustainable resources for this Fund to meet the teachers' demands and improve their living conditions as well as to support education in general.

He said " We handle education as a strategic issue, mobilize friends', partners' and donors' support to guide the interventions and programs of peace building, development and environment and political participation in a way ensures the stability of educational process and improve it, first and foremost pay attention to the teacher's and the family's needs in order to ensure sustainable development interventions".
