Deputy Speaker of Yemen's consultative "Shura" Council Dr. Abdullah Abu Al-Ghaith held talks with the Deputy Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Yemen Sarhad Fattah over the latest developments in Yemen and developments related to the activity of the UN special envoy and his deputy in pushing for peace efforts in Yemen.
Abu Al-Ghaith made reference to the escalation of the crisis in Yemen due to the terrorist Houthi conduct which necessitates doubling the required international pressures to push the Houthi militia to seriously deal with peace efforts, and end the suffering of the Yemeni people, and allow the restoration of state institutions.
