Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fishery Abdel Malik Naji voiced deep gratitude and appreciation to the friendly government of the Federal Republic of Germany for its significant contribution to the development drive in Yemen.

" We're deeply grateful to our German friends for their generous support for the Yemeni people", said Naji.
He added " We greatly appreciate the significant efforts and interventions by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ)" in the agricultural and fishery sectors".

He made his statement during a meeting held today, Monday, in the interim capital Aden, included the Undersecretaries of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fisheries and the Country Director of the (GIZ) Marc Schumacher.

The discussions covered a range of topics relating to the GIZ's programs and interventions including the projects to support livelihoods of fishermen, capacity building and training the technicians staff of the Ministry in the two sectors of fishery and agriculture and the research and information centers as well as the Central Labs.
