The Yemeni Network for Rights and Freedoms (YNRD) documented (8181) incidents of violations committed by the Iranian regime-allied Houthi terrorist militias in al-Baidha governorate from January 2015 to January 2025.
The YNRD reported that the Houthi militiamen killed (842) civilians, including women and children. While (931) others sustained varying injuries, including permanent maims..
The YNRD documented (61) cases of killing as a result of direct sniping, (285) cases of direct gunfire, (198) cases by indiscriminate shelling, (214) cases due to landmines, (41) cases of field execution, (13) cases of killing because of blowing up houses, (18) cases of assassination, (14) cases of killing under torture, (8) cases of killing run over by crews and vehicles belonging to the militia and (17) cases of killing as a result of other incidents.
The report also documented serious violations of personal rights and human dignity, including (2780) cases of arrest and abduction, (366) cases of enforced disappearance, (132) cases of psychological and physical torture and (2691) incidents of violation against property and civilian objects.
The report stated that the village of Hanka al Masoud in the Quraishiya district was besieged for more than a week, where the militiamen used drones and heavy weapons to destroy homes and displace families, killing 7 civilians and wounding 18 others, including women and children.
As many as 400 of the villagers were arbitrary arrested and have been held in the militias' detention centers, including children and old people.
