The Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Qasem Buhaybeh discussed Wednesday with the Acting Representative of the World Health Organization in Yemen Dr. Freema ways to enhance the partnership between the ministry and the organization.
Dr. Bahaybeh pointed out to the technical and professional needs required to provide technical support to contribute to strengthening the health system.
He called for enhancing the WHO office in Aden and expanding its authority to facilitate work and effectiveness, considering the strengthening of communication points.
The Minister of Health reviewed the preparations for the upcoming first health system conference in Yemen and the working papers that will be included in the conference scheduled to be held from February 18 to 20.
