Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Dr. Mohammed al-Zaouri, inaugurated in Aden today the first phase of Al-Salam Rehabilitative Village for Orphans and Widows, a project funded by the Kuwaiti Peace Society for Humanitarian and Charitable Works.
The minister toured the village, which comprises twelve buildings containing one hundred and forty-four apartments, each apartment consisting of two rooms, a hall, a kitchen and a bathroom.
The village also has amenities such as a medical clinic, a school, a Quran center, a women's workshop, a commercial market, playgrounds and child amusement parks.
