Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Dr. Mohammed al-Zaouri has said that Yemen is going through one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world as a result of the war the Iran-backed terrorist Houthi militia had been waging against the state for more than ten years.”
Addressing the 44th session of Arab Social Affairs Minister Council in Bahrain today, he spelled out the economic impact resulting from the Houthi attacks on facilities and oil export ports and shipping lanes in the Arabian sea and Red Sea.
He said the suspension of oil and gas exports had denied the government 60 percent of foreign exchange resources and prevented it from providing basic services to the public, which creates the worst humanitarian reality in the world.
