Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya al-Zindani received today, Tuesday, in the transitional capital Aden, the Director of the World Health Organizations (WHO) Tedros Ghebreyesus and his accompanying delegation.
The conversations covered topical issues relating to cooperation between the Yemeni government and the WHO.
Dr. al-Zindani welcomed Mr. Ghebreyesus in Aden, greatly appreciating the WHO's efforts and interventions in Yemen, underlining the importance of further enhancing the partnership between the Yemeni government and the WHO.
The Foreign Minister restated that the Yemeni government is very keen to provide every necessary help to facilitate the WHO's actions in the government-held regions.
The WHO Director stated that he is looking forward to further increase the joint cooperation with the Yemeni government, affirming that Yemen will continue to be within the WHO's priorities in terms of support and assistances.
