Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to the Russian Federation Dr. Ahmed al-Wuhayshi discussed today, Wednesday, with the Deputy Director of the Middle East at the Russian Foreign Ministry Maxim Maximov bilateral relations and joint cooperation between the two countries.
The conversations covered the latest developments in Yemen and the region as well as issues of common interest.
Al-Wuhayshi expressed Yemen's gratitude to the Russian government for its support for the Yemeni government and people.
The Russian official reiterated Moscow's steadfast stance in support of the internationally recognized government and the international and regional efforts to end the war and make peace in Yemen.
