Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Shaya Zindani met with the Special Envoy of the Chinese Government on the Middle East Issue Zhai Jun in Manama today. They discussed developments on the Yemeni and regional levels, and exchanged views on the issues of common interest.

Zindani hailed China's support for the Yemeni government, and its humanitarian and development assistance. The Chinese envoy renewed his country's support for the Presidential Leadership Council, international and regional efforts and efforts meant to broker peace, and bring conflict to an end.
