Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak received in Aden today the Resident Representative of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Yemen Peter Hawkins.
Hawkins acquainted the premier with the organization's programs and projects in light of the needs, especially protecting children and supporting education and health.
Talks went over the ongoing UNICEF's interventions and projects, including cash transfers, their implementation mechanisms, the human capital project and investment in the health sector, social protection for children, and youth rehabilitation.
The premier highlighted the government's interest to promote partnership with UNICEF in all areas, and facilitate its mission.
