Member of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Abdullah al-Alimi, held talks with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev here today within his participation in the World Leaders Climate Summit.

Al-Alimi expressed Yemen's appreciation for the generous hospitality of Azerbaijan in hosting and wonderfully organizing this spectacular summit, which reflects Azerbaijan's honorable international position and clear commitment to climate issues.

He congratulated Aliyev on the success of the event, and conveyed to Aliyev the greetings of the chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad al-Alimi and other council members. He stressed the depth of bilateral relations between the two countries and the interest to promote bilateral cooperation in various fields.
