Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed bin Mubarak paid a visit today, Wednesday, to the headquarters of the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation to inspect how the reforms process is progressing and to hear firsthand how the Ministry is doubling the efforts to mobilize the regional and international support, broaden prospects of cooperation and partnership with the donor countries, institutions and organizations.
He toured the Ministry's departments and chatted with the staff over their daily life activities to get firsthand information about the implementation of the reforms program.
The Prime Minister convened a meeting with the Ministry leadership headed by the Minister Dr. Wa'ed Badhib devoted to discuss topical issues relating the Ministry's actions, developing plans, implementing the advised managerial reforms and challenges need to be addressed to improve the Ministry's performance.
The Prime Minister directed the Ministry leadership to look for a new premises for the Ministry to ensure better workplace for the staff.
Bin Mubarak also ordered to get the organizational structure of the Ministry completed in the crucial sectors.
